What is NJBioFutures?

NJBioFutures answers the urgent call from the industry to address the evitable labor market needs for the cell and gene therapeutic technology sector.

Three NJ Community Colleges are strategically positioned to lead the charge because they are already working together in the NJ Pathways to Career Opportunities Initiative’s Center of Workforce Innovation for Aseptic Processing and Biomanufacturing:

  1. Raritan Valley Community College
    (Somerset and Hunterdon)
  2. Middlesex College (Middlesex)
  3. Mercer County Community College (Mercer).
These three colleges are collaborating through support from the NJ Community College Consortium for Workforce and Economic Development, aligned with the New Jersey Economic Development Authority’s vision for a statewide workforce development response, and are convening industry leaders to understand the specific labor market needs and corresponding curriculum requirements.
